Work things

Wow...its June already. This summer has been going by rather quickly.
I'm really getting the hang of waiting tables! Its a lot of fun once you get used to the running around and having to fight the kitchen staff for the correct orders. Its a mad house, let me tell ya. But its fun meeting people and seeing who all comes in.  The other day I had this older couple come in. They both got their food and the wife ordered three Bloody Marys in short succession of one another. Then this younger couple came in and sat behind the older couple. They had a baby with them who was screaming gleefully as loud as she possibly could. Cute baby, but you could hear her from across the restraunt. So while the young couple was deciding what to get, the baby was screaming and the older lady was cringing and making really ugly faces at her husband. haha. After a while the older couple left and the mother had gone to the car with the baby to get her quiet. The young guy and I were talking about the food and he then told me that he had never had italian food before! He was like, 25! Thats crazy! And he didnt really know if he liked it or not. They didnt finish their food and they didnt want to-go boxes, so,I guess not....
Interesting day, for sure.
